We are looking for a passionate and talented Sous Chef who shares the same love of food and hospitality that we do!
You will be second in line to our Head Chef at the soon to be reopened Unicorn Pub in Cublington, an exciting new pub opening from the team behind the Five Elms pub in Weedon.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in supervising daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of food production
- Lead and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and energetic team environment
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain consistency, quality, and presentation excellence
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold rigorous hygiene standards across all kitchen areas
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and minimize waste to optimize kitchen efficiency
- Support the training and development of team members in food preparation techniques and service standards
- Participate actively in serving guests when necessary, ensuring a positive dining experience for all customers
Requirements
- Proven experience in a culinary or restaurant environment ideally of a two rosette quality
- Demonstrated supervising experience with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively
- Extensive knowledge of food production, preparation, cooking methods, and presentation
- Solid understanding of food safety protocols and hygiene standards in hospitality settings with a level 2 Food saftey required and level three desired
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage team members under pressure
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with staff and ensure seamless service delivery
- Passion for hospitality, culinary innovation, and delivering exceptional guest experiences
Pay: £36,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
