Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Primary School Tutor with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to inspire and support young learners in their educational journey. Duties
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons across core primary subjects, including literacy, numeracy, science, and social studies
- Assess individual student needs and adapt teaching strategies to support diverse learning styles and abilities
- Provide targeted support for children with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring inclusive learning experiences
- Track student progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to students, parents, and staff
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop personalized learning plans that align with curriculum standards
- Maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages participation, independence, and confidence
- Support extracurricular activities and enrichment programs that enhance student engagement and development
Experience
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching within primary education settings
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children of various ages and backgrounds
- Experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) or additional learning requirements is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills to clearly convey concepts to young learners and collaborate with colleagues and parents
- Knowledge of current primary education curriculum standards and best practices in teaching methods
