Responsibilities
- Design engaging, tailored singing lessons that cater to each student’s skill level, musical interests, and goals
- Teach proper vocal techniques, including breath control, pitch accuracy, diction, and vocal health
- Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their singing abilities and build confidence
- Prepare students for performances, auditions, or exams by developing appropriate repertoire and practice routines
- Foster a supportive and motivating classroom environment that encourages creativity and self-expression
- Track student progress regularly and adjust lesson plans accordingly to ensure continuous growth
- Maintain organized records of lessons, student achievements, and upcoming schedules
Requirements
- Proven experience in vocal performance or teaching singing at various levels
- Strong knowledge of vocal techniques, music theory, and performance skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire learners
- Ability to create customized lesson plans that address individual needs and goals
- Passion for music education and fostering a positive learning atmosphere
- Certification in voice training or related musical qualifications is a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends if needed
