Keysight is seeking a Calibration Technician to join our established service team. This role provides hands-on exposure to a wide range of electronic test and measurement equipment used in advanced technology environments.
The successful candidate will develop a strong understanding of electronic instrumentation and gain experience in the measurement, calibration, and repair techniques required to maintain precision equipment. The position is primarily based within the service centre, working alongside experienced engineers within defined processes and quality standards. There may also be opportunities to support customer-site activities as part of a wider engineering team.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain multiple electronic test stations, typically controlled through PC-based software

Perform measurement and analysis of electronic signals using appropriate test equipment

Accurately record completed work in service documentation and internal systems

Follow established calibration and service processes to maintain quality standards

Collaborate with colleagues to meet service, turnaround time, and performance objectives

Support continuous learning and development across a broad range of test and measurement technologies
Qualifications:
Essential
-
Minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grades A-C or equivalent), including Maths, English, and Physics
-
Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to technical work

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Confidence using computers and software tools in a technical environment

Strong written communication skills for documenting technical activities
Advantageous

A-Level and/or BTEC qualifications in Electronic Engineering

Exposure to calibration activities or an understanding of calibration principles within a laboratory or service
