Trainee Service Technician:

In this role, in addition to supporting the general daily operation of the business you'll undergo training to carry out installations, servicing, boiler inspections, repairs, and handle breakdown call outs for various coffee machines, including traditional espresso machines and super automatic machines, along with associated equipment. Your duties will include on-site visits to customers as well as working within our workshop unit, supporting daily operations.
Responsibilities will ultimately include an element of training our customers' staff in the effective use of our equipment, ensuring each cup served meets the highest standards of excellence using our premium coffees. Additionally, there are opportunities for commission-based earnings through acquiring new business and sales-related initiatives.
· Coffee Machine Maintenance: Installation of single phase and three phase coffee machines, both traditional and super-automatic, at customer sites.
· Installation and regeneration of water filtration systems at customer site.
· Installation/repair/servicing of other peripheral coffee machines and various equipment at customer site. Repair of single phase and three phase machines at customer site.
· Reconditioning and bench servicing coffee machines.
· Daily order fulfilment
Workshop:
· Repair, servicing, reconditioning and descaling of coffee machine and hot beverage equipment in the workshop, as required.
· Aiding in organisation of stock and management of stock levels
· Aiding with the organisation and storage of coffee machines and associated products and equipment arriving and departing the workshop. Maintaining a tidy and clean working environment.
Admin:
· Completion of service report paperwork upon completion of work and obtain a signature before leaving customer site.
· Communication with management upon completion of each job and any follow ups required.
· To fill out all necessary paperwork within a reasonable period of time and hand in to the office.
· To aid in the completion of stock take, service calendar, ordering and any other procedures relating to Coffee Machine and Hot Drink Equipment maintenance, as required.
· To complete timesheet or similar timekeeping procedure accurately and honestly

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent. Minimum of 2 references required. Clean driving license. Company vehicle provided to carry out your duties.
Experience and skills:
- Love of all things coffee
- Practically minded
- Competent with hand tools and experience of using a multi meter is preferable.
Salary
Starting from £28k per annum with a clear pathway for progression. Plus opportunities for overtime and commission dependent on experience.
