KAM Automotive are looking for a trainee engine machinist to join our team in Basildon. You'll work in our in-house machine shop and learn the specialist skills involved in repairing, machining and rebuilding engine components.
You don't need prior experience; we'll teach you everything you need to know.
What you'll actually be doing:
- Cylinder head skimming
- Cylinder head pressure testing
- Spot wear, damage and potential problems
- Use specialist engine machining tools and measuring equipment to work within tolerances
- Work on components from a huge variety of vehicles
You'll be learning specialist skills from people who do this work every day.
