Maintenance Engineer
Join our team and play a vital role in keeping our automated sortation systems, conveyors, and facility equipment running safely and efficiently. You'll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving a range of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a fast-paced operational environment.

Carry out planned preventive and reactive maintenance on plant and facility equipment.

Diagnose and repair faults on conveyors, automation systems, motors, sensors, PLCs, VFDs, and control panels.

Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime and maintain operational performance.

Perform mechanical maintenance, including work on bearings, belts, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Support the installation and upgrade of machinery and equipment.

Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and spare parts inventory.

Follow all health and safety procedures, including risk assessments and PPE requirements.

Collaborate with operations teams and provide clear shift handovers to ensure smooth site performance.

Level 3 Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification (minimum).

Experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance within an industrial or automated environment.

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

Basic knowledge of PLCs, motor controls, networks, hydraulics, and pneumatics is beneficial.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
