About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking finance leader to head our Finance Operations function.
As Head of Finance operations, you will play a key role in providing strategic and operational leadership across accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash processing, credit control and related finance systems, ensuring the delivery of an efficient, compliant and customer-focused service.
You will lead a high-performing team, driving service excellence, strong financial control, continuous improvement and finance transformation. Acting as the University's lead expert on transactional finance, you will oversee debt management, treasury processes, systems optimisation, compliance, policy development and stakeholder engagement across the institution.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting the University's strategic ambitions through innovation, operational excellence and effective financial stewardship.

About You
As Head of Finance operations will have substantial experience leading finance operations within a complex organisation, with strong expertise in financial controls, systems, process improvement, regulatory compliance and people management. You will be an influential leader with excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding services.
