About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Digital Marketing Manager to join our marketing team.
This is a hands-on role with responsibility for managing and optimising our digital marketing operations across multiple channels and geographies. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our websites, CRM, paid advertising, reporting and marketing technology work effectively together to support business growth.
Working closely with our internal marketing team and external agency partners, you’ll use data and insight to improve digital performance, maximise ROI and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Website Management
- Maintain the functionality and performance of Sapphire and sub-brand websites across all geographies.
- Work closely with the Content Manager to ensure website content is accurate, up to date and new pages are created when required.
- Liaise with agency partners to resolve technical website issues and support development projects.
- Monitor and report on website performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure websites are effectively integrated with other marketing technology platforms, including HubSpot.
Marketing CRM
- Take ownership of the day-to-day operation of the marketing CRM platform, including automation and lead scoring.
- Ensure effective integration between the CRM, company systems and other marketing technology.
- Work with the Marketing Manager to resolve technical issues and optimise CRM processes.
- Support reporting and integration with dashboard and reporting tools such as Smartsheet and Power BI.
Paid Advertising
- Oversee the strategy for paid advertising activity across key markets.
- Work with external agencies to deliver always-on and targeted advertising campaigns.
- Manage advertising spend, monitor performance and adapt campaigns to maximise ROI.
- Work with the Content Manager to ensure paid advertising is aligned with wider marketing content and activity.
Digital Marketing Strategy
- Work with the Head of Marketing to evaluate, develop and deliver the digital marketing strategy.
- Keep up to date with the latest developments, trends and best practice in digital marketing.
- Identify opportunities to improve digital channels, technologies and campaign performance.
Lead Attribution & Marketing Analytics
- Support the Head of Marketing in measuring MQLs and accurately attributing leads to the appropriate marketing activity.
- Use marketing mix modelling and other analytical techniques to measure the impact of marketing activities on sales and wider KPIs.
- Analyse customer and prospect touchpoints to understand the effectiveness of digital marketing activity.
CRM & Business Support
- Act as a key point of contact for marketing-related questions and issues relating to the CRM system and marketing integrations.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to ensure marketing systems operate effectively.
Reporting & Insights
- Communicate marketing performance and successes to the marketing team and wider business using meaningful metrics and clear, easy-to-understand reporting.
- Build and maintain digital marketing reports and dashboards, working with IT where required.
- Provide comprehensive reporting across website performance, paid advertising, lead generation and customer/prospect activity.
- Use data and insights to assess ROI and make recommendations on where to improve, invest or stop lower-value activity.
Hours - Monday to Friday 7:30am till 4:30pm
What You Bring?
- Construction Industry Experience is desirable
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or an equivalent qualification; CIM qualification desirable.
- At least 5 years’ experience in digital marketing, ideally within a B2B environment.
- Experience working effectively with external marketing agencies and partners.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and deliver to deadlines.
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
- Strong experience with marketing technology platforms, particularly WordPress and HubSpot.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience of Google Analytics, paid advertising and paid social media.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into clear commercial recommendations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
