Accident & Insurance Administrator
We are looking for a highly motivated and organised Accident and Insurance Administrator to join our operations team. The role would be based at the Skills Group head office in Bulwell.

About the Role
You will be responsible for managing all aspects of vehicle accident administration across the Skills Group, ensuring accurate record-keeping, thorough investigations, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, record, and maintain accurate details of all vehicle accidents within the Skills Group.
- Keep comprehensive and up-to-date accident and insurance records.
- Conduct investigations into vehicle accidents, including meeting with drivers involved to establish the facts.
- Assess incidents and recommend appropriate follow-up actions in line with company procedures.
- Produce daily and monthly accident and insurance reports for management.
- Liaise with insurance providers and other relevant parties when required.
- Handle incoming complaints professionally, ensuring they are investigated and resolved in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure all documentation is completed accurately and within required timescales.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying trends and making recommendations to reduce future incidents.
About you.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to investigate incidents objectively and professionally.
- Experience producing reports and maintaining accurate records.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
- Experience in accident administration, insurance, transport, fleet management, or a similar administrative role is desirable but not essential.
Salary and benefits
£29,000 per year
5 days a week, Monday - Friday.
25 days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays
