What will you be doing?
As a Care Assistant, your role will involve supporting people with their daily lives and helping them to remain independent at home. Duties may include:
- Supporting with getting up, dressing and preparing for the day
- Personal care, including washing, bathing, showering, oral care and grooming
- Toileting and continence support
- Supporting with prescribed medication
- Using manual handling equipment safely and correctly
- Preparing meals and supporting with eating where required
- Bed making, laundry and light household tasks
- Shopping and other everyday activities
- Supporting people to get ready for bed
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Escorting service users to appointments or activities where required
- Working alongside other professionals, including District Nurses and GPs
- Maintaining accurate records of care visits
Every person we support is an individual, and you'll play an important part in helping them feel safe, respected, independent and valued in their own home.

Pay: £13.75-£14.44 per hour
