- Plan delivery routes efficiently to optimise time and fuel consumption.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule, maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring proper handling of pharmaceutical products.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle at all times, reporting any vehicle issues promptly.
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including delivery logs and receipt confirmations.
- Follow all health and safety protocols during deliveries, including adherence to COVID-19 guidelines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably within pharmaceutical or warehouse environments.
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Good organisational skills for route planning and time management.
- Knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of safety and service quality.
Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
