Job Summary
Due to expansion, we are recruiting for experienced industrial sewing machinists with experience of working on a lapseam or webbing machine.
The role is primarily working on a specialist project manufacturing heavy duty items to strict production deadlines and quality agreements.
Experience of other industrial sewing machines is also desired, particularly twin needle, walking foot machine and single feed.
There is also scope to work in one of our other sections which includes putting together a range of different products.
Job Type / Category
The role will be on a full time permanent basis, 42 hours per week working Monday to Thursday 07.00am to 16.30pm and Friday 07.00am to 13.00pm. Overtime may be required at peak times.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate will have experience in using industrial sewing machines, ideally lapseam or webbing machines, as well as others and be able to demonstrate experience of working with heavy duty fabrics/items previously.
You must have previously worked within an industrial manufacturing environment. Full training on products will be provided.
