Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, sprayers, or other tools with attention to detail
- Follow project specifications and safety guidelines diligently to deliver consistent results on time
- Communicate effectively with project managers and clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste responsibly
- Conduct quality checks throughout the process to ensure smooth application and flawless finishes
- Drive between multiple job sites safely and efficiently to meet project deadlines
Experience
- Proven experience in construction painting or related trades, demonstrating skill in surface preparation and finishing techniques
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record for reliable transportation between sites
- Strong communication skills in English to understand instructions clearly and coordinate effectively with team members and clients
- Knowledge of safety procedures relevant to construction sites and painting activities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality
- Familiarity with various painting tools, equipment, and materials used in professional painting projects
