Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Coffee Shop Supervisor to join our dynamic team on a job share basis. In this role, you will lead daily operations with the other supervisor, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily coffee shop operations, ensuring smooth service flow and adherence to centre standards.
- Supervise and support team members in food preparation, serving, and cleaning tasks to maintain high-quality standards
- Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service, resolving any issues promptly and professionally
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance to foster a motivated and efficient team
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and food production procedures at all times
- Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and service areas
- Support the implementation of new menu items or promotional activities to enhance customer experience
Qualifications
- Proven supervising or team management experience within a coffee shop or hospitality environment
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
- Experience working in a café setting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of hospitality standards, including serving techniques and customer engagement
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, food production processes, and health regulations
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service
