Supply Planner
Our Supply Planners play a critical role in delivering exceptional product availability across our Iceland and Food Warehouse stores.
Working within a fast-paced and dynamic environment, you'll collaborate with colleagues across the business to ensure our customers can buy the products they want, when they want them.
This role offers a unique opportunity to develop expertise in forecasting, replenishment, and supply chain planning while helping to shape the future of our operating model.
Purpose of the Role
As a Supply Planner, you will manage product categories generating approximately £3 million in sales each week, covering around 200 products across more than 1,000 stores.
You will be responsible for forecasting demand, managing promotional activity, and optimising stock levels through our replenishment systems to deliver industry-leading availability while controlling waste and stock investment.
Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and operational teams will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities
- Maximise product availability through effective management of depot stock and goods-in capacity.
- Manage daily rebookings and collaborate closely with colleagues across the Supply Chain function.
- Control stock levels within agreed company budgets, including managing discontinued and delisted lines.
- Deliver performance in line with Company Reduced & Waste targets.
- Ensure continuous supply by balancing customer demand with Company KPIs and financial objectives.
- Analyse and anticipate factors that influence demand, including seasonality, weather patterns, promotions, and emerging trends.
- Support the successful implementation and adoption of new forecasting and replenishment technologies.

- Supply chain, forecasting, planning, replenishment, or retail experience is desirable but not essential.
