Lilac Heart Homecare is looking for an experienced, compassionate and resilient Support Worker to join our team and provide high-quality, trauma-informed support in North Lanarkshire.
This role is suited to someone who has genuine experience supporting people affected by trauma, including childhood and/or adult trauma, and who understands the impact this can have on an individual’s wellbeing, behaviour and relationships.
Essential requirements
- Proven experience working with individuals affected by trauma, including childhood and/or adult trauma.
- Previous experience working in a Support Worker or similar care/support role.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle are essential, as the role requires regular travel between locations across North Lanarkshire.
- Access to your own reliable car – this is non-negotiable.
- Willingness and ability to travel between locations as required.
- Available to start immediately.
- Available for a face-to-face interview during the week commencing 1 September 2026.
- Reliable, professional and able to work flexibly around the needs of the people we support.
About the role
You will provide person-centred support to individuals. You will be expected to build trusting relationships, promote independence and wellbeing, and provide consistent, compassionate support.
The successful candidate will be confident working with complex needs and understand the importance of trauma-informed, non-judgemental and strengths-based support.
You should be comfortable working independently, managing your time effectively and travelling across North Lanarkshire.

Pay: £13.45 per hour
