About Us
TBC Healthcare is an award-winning provider of Tier 2 & 3 multi-disciplinary specialist weight management services. Since 2009, we’ve supported adults, children, young people and their families across London and the South of England to manage their weight and make lasting lifestyle changes.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Men’s Wellness and Support Coach to join our team and help close the gender gap in our programmes. Men are often put off engaging with weight management services by stigma and diet culture, and our goal is to change that — by building support that speaks directly to men’s needs and keeps them engaged on their journey.
You’ll provide one-to-one and group support to male patients, run engagement-focused sessions, and help shape how we reach and retain men in our service. You’ll also play a key role in expanding our Men’s content for our patient app, helping create resources that genuinely resonate with a male audience.
This role is based in Greenwich with a mix of remote and clinic-based working, offering flexibility across three days a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide telephone or Microsoft Teams support to male patients, helping them set realistic goals and stay motivated
- Support male patients to overcome barriers to engagement and encourage long-term lifestyle change
- Design and deliver a programme of group sessions on men’s health topics
- Offer one-to-one support to men at any stage of their TBC Healthcare journey
- Signpost patients to relevant local and national men’s health support services
- Build and maintain a directory of local male-focused support organisations
- Maintain strong relationships with external providers, signposting to relevant organisations within the borough
- Expand and develop our Men’s content for the TBC Healthcare app
- Produce quarterly reports on engagement outcomes and male attendance rates
- Maintain accurate patient records and share relevant updates with the clinical team

- Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

- Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in men’s health and wellbeing
Desirable
- A qualification or training in health coaching, personal training, sports science, health & wellbeing, or a related field
- Experience working specifically with men’s health, men’s mental health, or engaging hard-to-reach male populations
- Experience developing digital or app-based health content
- Experience working in healthcare or NHS services
- Mental Health First Aid training
- Lived experience or genuine interest in men’s health/wellbeing
- Content creation or writing experience (to support app content development)
