Angelina’s restaurant in Snodland, Kent is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding hospitality to our guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently. This position requires a passion for food and service, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Take accurate food and drink orders while providing menu recommendations.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and kitchen.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of dishes.
- Process payments accurately using basic maths skills for transactions.
Skills
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is advantageous.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy restaurant environment.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation is beneficial but not essential.
