Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service to enhance their visit
- Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, including counters, tables, and kitchen stations
- Handle cash register operations accurately, including taking orders and processing payments
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure hygiene and compliance with health regulations
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or baked goods as needed
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and smooth operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Experience in serving or cash handling enhances your ability to excel in this role
- Basic math skills for accurate cash transactions and inventory checks
