THE ROLE :
Heart Medical is looking to recruit a small team of Qualified ACA staff to work on a bank basis, as and when required to fulfil ad-hoc requests. We can generally give 48 hours notice of available shifts.
Our ACA crews transport patients all over the UK who are clinically stable patients and are either being admitted to hospital for treatment, outpatient appointments, intra - hospital transfers or being discharged to a care setting or home address.
Ambulance Care Assistants can also act as First Responders at public events and provide repatriation services to patients arriving by Air, Sea or Rail.
LOCTATION:
Our base is in Carlton, Barnsley, South Yorkshire.
WORKING HOURS:
We welcome applications from crews looking for ad hoc work on a variety of shifts and types of work.
THE CANDIDATE:
To be considered on this occasion you must already be qualified ambulance crew with demonstrable qualifications and experience.
The ideal candidate will be flexible and enjoy a varied working pattern. You must be able to work under pressure and work well in a team, and most importantly, be part of the Heart family and live our values.
You will have availability throughout the week, as we are growing a small team, we need staff to cover the 7 day period.
You will be over 21 for insurance purposes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To grow our team were looking for qualified crews, this should be a recognised ACA qualification.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
· Aged 21 Years for insurance purposes
· Current full manual UK driving licence with a minimum of two years driving experience and no more than 3 penalty points
· Qualified ambulance crew
· Ability to create a positive image of Heart Medical
· Capable of working in stressful and demanding situations
· High standards of personal fitness and appearance
· Ability to produce clear and legible documents
· A current and satisfactory enhanced DBS check
· Ability to work on own initiative
· Satisfactory medical clearance
· Fitness for role
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
