Brooklands is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team, responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of company vehicles, equipment and machinery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our fleet and work equipment, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
The role would be based on two to three shifts per month and would suit somebody on a part time basis who has other employment and capacity for extra days each month or who may be semi-retired / have spare time but with a mechanical skillset.
We would require one weekend per month to be worked at intervals of one month in between each visit where we would arrange for our company fleet to be at our HQ for you to carry out inspection and monthly maintenance and then one extra day per month at any time in the month to suit you to carry out inspection and maintenance of company equipment stored in our warehouse.
We currently have a fleet of 5 vans and require the ideal candidate to have vehicular mechanical experience, each van has built in plant/equipment along with our small warehouse storing various types of cleaning equipment including petrol pressure washers in which training will be provided for required inspection and maintenance.
