Appointments Service Administrator – Nottingham Based – minimum of 8 hours weekly (ideally worked on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons)
The role:
Marriage Care is looking for an Appointments Service Administrator. You will be based at our offices in central Nottingham, taking enquiries from people seeking appointments for counselling of for our Marriage Preparation courses.
You will report directly to the Appointments Service Coordinator
Key responsibilities:
Providing a courteous and efficient appointments service, handling calls sensitively from clients (who may be in distress) or volunteers, and to arrange appointments in accordance with service standards including maintaining absolute client confidentiality.
To be able to work independently, and as part of a team.
Maintain service standards and relationships.
To be able to be flexible in providing cover when occasionally needed.
Essential qualifications, skills, knowledge and experience:
A good standard of education with 5 GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English.
Ability to liaise effectively with members of the public and volunteers, to provide a good level of customer service and to maintain confidentiality.
Good IT skills including Microsoft Office, accurate data entry and experience of using databases.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Office experience.
A team player.
Additional information:
Minimum of 8 hours offered weekly (ideally worked on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons).
The role is paid at £13.45 per hour. We are an accredited Living Wage employer, and this rate is in keeping with this.
