Responsibilities
- Perform tree pruning, trimming, and removal using appropriate hand tools and power equipment to ensure safety and health of trees.
- Operate machinery such as excavators and other construction equipment for large-scale tree removal or landscaping projects.
- Maintain and repair irrigation systems to support healthy plant growth and landscape vitality.
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities including mowing, edging, planting, and groundskeeping to uphold aesthetic standards.
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and service power tools, lawn equipment, and groundskeeping machinery regularly.
- Assist with construction projects related to landscape enhancement or infrastructure improvements within outdoor spaces.
- Support gardening and horticulture efforts by planting new trees, shrubs, and flowers while ensuring proper soil preparation and watering routines.
Requirements
- Prior experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, power tools, hand tools, and their safe operation.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators confidently and safely.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems, groundskeeping practices, and general construction experience is a plus.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labor outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of horticulture principles to support plant health and landscape design.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintenance and safety protocols.
