About i24 Group
i24 Group is an international business group operating a range of service businesses across the UK and overseas. Our Birmingham branch is one of our key UK operational hubs, providing mail handling, e-commerce returns processing, order fulfilment, and retail postal and packaging services.
We're looking for an organised, dependable and proactive Branch Team Leader to help oversee the day-to-day running of our Birmingham branch.
About the Role
This is a varied supervisory role with genuine responsibility and plenty of variety.
You'll help ensure the Birmingham branch operates efficiently, accurately and in line with our procedures. You'll supervise a small team, support customers, communicate with business clients and work closely with our UK Operations Manager to keep everything running smoothly.
This isn't a desk-based role. We're looking for someone who enjoys getting involved in the day-to-day operation, leading by example and taking pride in maintaining high standards.
No two days are the same. One day you might be helping customers in store, the next overseeing incoming mail, supporting the team with fulfilment work or resolving a client query. If you enjoy variety and like keeping things organised, you'll fit in well.
Key Responsibilities
- Help oversee the day-to-day running of the Birmingham branch.
- Support, supervise and coordinate a small team.
- Ensure work is completed accurately and in accordance with company procedures.
- Oversee our mail handling, product returns and order fulfilment operations.
- Complete client billing and administrative tasks accurately.
- Deliver excellent customer service to both business clients and retail customers.
- Respond to customer and client enquiries by telephone, email and in person.
- Help ensure the branch operates safely, efficiently and compliantly.
- Identify problems, maintain high standards and suggest improvements where appropriate.
- Act as a key holder for the branch.
- Work closely with the UK Operations Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the branch.
The Type of Person We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is organised, reliable and enjoys taking responsibility for their work.
You'll have excellent attention to detail, enjoy keeping things organised and be someone who naturally notices when something needs doing. You'll be comfortable making day-to-day decisions, solving problems and ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
You'll enjoy working alongside your colleagues rather than simply supervising from a distance. During busy periods you'll be happy to jump in and help with operational tasks, supporting the team wherever needed.
You'll also be confident communicating with customers and clients, providing excellent service and representing the business professionally.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone with a positive attitude who enjoys being part of a hardworking, supportive team.
You'll Ideally Have
- Previous supervisory experience, or experience taking responsibility within a retail, office, warehouse or operational environment.
- Experience working in a customer-facing role.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Competent IT and administrative skills.
- A dependable, proactive and professional approach.
- The confidence to work independently and take ownership of your responsibilities.

- The opportunity to develop your supervisory skills within a growing business where you'll have genuine responsibility and the chance to make a real contribution.
