Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Chef to join our culinary team. As a Pizza Chef, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality pizzas in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for great food, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining consistently high standards.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and stretch pizza dough to specification
- Create and cook a variety of pizzas according to recipes and presentation standards
- Prepare and organise toppings, sauces, and ingredients for service
- Operate pizza ovens safely and efficiently to achieve consistent quality
- Maintain a clean and organised workstation while adhering to food safety standards
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure timely and quality food production
- Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and ordering requirements
- Monitor ingredient quality and ensure all products meet company standards
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Pizza Chef or in a similar kitchen role
- Strong knowledge of pizza preparation, dough handling, and cooking techniques
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to follow recipes precisely and maintain consistency during busy service periods
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a high-volume environment
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Culinary training or certification is a plus
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred
