Due to continued growth, Chase Tyres Autocentre Ltd is looking for an experienced and motivated Vehicle Technician to join our friendly, professional team at our workshop in Norton Canes, Cannock.
With over 30 years of experience, we have built a strong reputation for delivering honest, reliable, high-quality vehicle repairs, servicing, tyres, brakes and diagnostics. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a business that values its staff.
Salary
Starting from £30,000 per year, with the opportunity to earn a monthly performance bonus when workshop targets are achieved.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm
- Saturday: 8:30am – 1:00pm
- One Saturday off every month
Your Responsibilities
- Experience with timing belts, clutches, brakes, electrical diagnostics, and general servicing maintenance and repairs on a wide range of cars and light commercial vehicles.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
- Complete vehicle health checks and identify any additional work required.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with manufacturer and industry standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Deliver excellent customer service as part of a supportive team.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a mechanic/Vehicle Technician.
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent) preferred.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- MOT Tester qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work well within a team.
