Northbound Projects is a busy and growing construction and refurbishment company based in Glasgow. We’re looking for an experienced Skilled Labourer to join our team on a permanent employed basis.
This is not a standard labouring role. We’re looking for someone who can work on their own initiative, support our trades, and get stuck into all aspects of residential refurbishment projects.
What the role involves:
- Full property strip-outs and preparing houses for refurbishment.
- Collecting and delivering materials between suppliers and sites.
- Keeping sites clean, organised and running efficiently throughout each project.
- Filling and managing skips and waste removal.
- Assisting our joiners, plumbers and other trades on site.
- Carrying out general skilled works where required, including basic joinery, plumbing, painting and finishing tasks.
- Supporting the site team to ensure projects stay on programme.
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within construction or property refurbishment.
- Experience in joinery, plumbing, painting or general building works is essential.
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude.
- Takes pride in producing high-quality work.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and reliability.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- North Lanarkshire or surrounding areas preferred.
