We are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our Planning department to support the planning of a wide variety of products from a large customer base, including one-off and prototype jobs.
Key responsibilities:
· Manage and maintain the Work Order process.
· Provide administrative and system support to the operations team, including resolving paperwork and ERP queries.
· Process and send Sales Order Acknowledgements to the customer.
· Update internal Sales Order Report with comments.
· Inputting Data entry onto ERP system.
· Checking material availability, alongside production dates.
· Reviewing stock levels for parts internally.
· Liaising with Customers on order books, enquiries, pull-forwards, excess stock & orders completed early.
· Support stock control processes - with booking in, issuing & Stock counting parts for operations.
· Aid Operations planning in day-to-day planning functions.
About You:
- Ideally you will come from a Manufacturing or Engineering background.
- You will be a strong, clear communicator with good influencing skills, and not afraid to challenge people where necessary.
- Keen eye for detail, with the ability to propose practical solutions.
- A team player with the ability to build strong working relationships both internally and externally.
- Proactive, resilient, and highly organised
- Work to and achieve deadlines.
- Good working knowledge of various Microsoft Office tools, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Knowledge and use of MRP packages would be a distinct advantage.
