Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, courteous service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times, including proper handling and serving of food
- Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff as required
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas in accordance with health regulations
- Manage guest queries promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction
- Handle payments accurately using the point-of-sale system and provide correct change or receipts
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for enthusiastic candidates
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills are advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Good communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy environment
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Experience with guest services and upselling techniques is beneficial
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role
