We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Food & Beverage (F&B) Assistant to join our team. This is a varied role that includes both bar work and waiting/service duties, ensuring our guests receive excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serving food and drinks to customers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Taking food and beverage orders accurately.
- Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
- Operating the bar and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Clearing and resetting tables promptly.
- Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues courteously.
- Processing payments using the till/POS system.
- Assisting with opening and closing duties.
- Maintaining food hygiene, health and safety, and licensing regulations at all times.
- Working as part of a team to deliver exceptional customer service.
Essential Requirements
- Must be aged 18 or over due to the sale and service of alcohol.
- Must be available to work evenings and late shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well under pressure.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience in a food and beverage, hospitality, bar, or restaurant environment is desirable but not essential.
- Experience in both bar service and waiting/service is an advantage.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and responsible alcohol service is beneficial.
