Burley Manor | New Forest
We’re looking for a Food & Beverage Supervisor to join the team at Burley Manor, our beautiful country house hotel nestled in the heart of the New Forest.
This is a role for someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality — someone who loves creating memorable moments, knows what great service looks like, and takes pride in making guests feel welcome from the moment they arrive.
At Burley Manor, every day is a little different. From relaxed lunches and afternoon drinks to special celebrations and memorable dinners, you’ll help bring our food and beverage operation to life and make sure every guest leaves with a reason to come back.
Burley Manor is part of New Forest Hotels, a collection of beautifully individual hotels, each with its own character, story and sense of place.
Our purpose is simple: to enrich the lives of those within our community by providing the best New Forest hospitality.
We want our hotels to feel warm, sincere and welcoming — places where people can connect, be creative and thrive. Our teams are at the heart of that, and we believe the best hospitality comes from people who genuinely care.
We live by four values:
Be BRAVE – take ownership
Collaborate as a TEAM
Develop, NURTURE and care
Be OPEN – communicate honestly
As Food & Beverage Supervisor, you’ll be a key part of the team, helping to create an experience that feels effortless for our guests.
You’ll support the Food and Beverage Manager and wider team, lead by example on shift and make sure our service is consistently warm, professional and personal.
You’ll be involved across our food and beverage operation, from welcoming guests and overseeing service to supporting the team, maintaining standards and helping to resolve any challenges that arise.
Most importantly, you’ll bring energy, personality and a genuine passion for hospitality.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in a food and beverage or hospitality environment, ideally in a supervisory or team-leading role
- Has a genuine passion for food, drink and great service
- Is warm, friendly and confident, with a natural ability to make people feel welcome
- Leads from the front and enjoys bringing the best out of those around them
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills
- Is proactive, reliable and takes pride in getting the details right
- Can stay calm, positive and solution-focused when things get busy
- Understands the importance of food safety, hygiene and high service standards
- Is flexible and happy to work evenings, weekends, bank holidays and during busy periods
Experience is important, but attitude is everything. If you’re enthusiastic, curious and genuinely care about giving people a great experience, we’d love to hear from you.
We want our people to enjoy being part of New Forest Hotels and to have the opportunity to grow with us.
As part of the team, you’ll receive:
- 28 days’ holiday per year, plus a duvet day on your birthday (contracted roles)
- Fantastic training and career development opportunities
- Free staff parking
- Perkbox membership and a range of lifestyle discounts
- Staff loyalty benefits
- Discounts at our sister resort in Cyprus
- Opportunities to work and develop across our collection of New Forest hotels
If you’re looking for a role where you can make a real difference, develop your skills and be part of a team that genuinely cares about hospitality, this could be the opportunity for you.
Come and be part of Burley Manor — where great food, beautiful surroundings and genuinely warm hospitality come together.
We’d love to hear from you. Apply today.
Please note that Burley Manor is located in the heart of the New Forest and public transport links are limited. Before applying, please make sure you’re familiar with our location and have considered how you would travel to and from work. Shift patterns vary and the role will include evenings, weekends and busy holiday periods.
Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we’re unable to respond to every candidate individually. If you haven’t heard from us within two weeks of submitting your application, please assume that you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.
