An amazing opportunity has opened up to join the management team at NQ JPN, a new concept bar in Soho. We are after a head bartender with strong leadership skills ensuring brand standards are upheld and responsible for delivering an amazing guest experience. The right person will have a strong cocktail knowledge and skills including cocktail preparation and experience with ice carving and storage.
NQ64 are spinning up a brand new concept at a 250 capacity venue in Soho. The same NQ64 DNA - but different everything else. Different decor with Japanese drinks and arcades set to house/dance music. Completely fresh experience for our guests.
It'll look and feel quite different to what you may know an NQ64 to look like. The details can be discussed further upon application but for now we are trying to keep things under wraps. We're after someone with a big personality, positive energy, and a person who genuinely loves hospitality, entertainment, and creating an atmosphere guests can't wait to come back to.

Key responsibilities but not limited to:
- Training & coaching of team members including training reports and feedback.
- Ensuring brand standards are upheld and responsible for delivering an amazing guest experience.
- Key-holder responsibilities
- Preparation of batches, garnish, ice carving and storage.
- Contributing to menu development and specials.
Requirements
Essential:
- Experience in a cocktail focused bar, ideally as a head-bartender or senior bartender
- Solid background of cocktail knowledge and ability.
- Experience with Ice carving, ice prep & storage
- The ability to work independently & take initiative.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Ability to safely travel to and from work despite the late hours.
- Fully flexible. Will be required to work weekends and late nights.
Preferable:
- Experience working in a venue with a Japanese-based cocktail menu.
The important bits
- Salary £34,000 + tronc
- Fortnightly pay.
- 40-45 hour week across 4/5 days.
