About the Role
Are you an experienced Events Lead, Event Planner or Corporate Events Professional looking for an opportunity to deliver high-profile industry events?
OEUK is seeking a talented Senior Events Adviser to lead the planning, delivery and development of a diverse portfolio of conferences, exhibitions, awards ceremonies, networking events and executive business events. Based in Aberdeen, this role offers the opportunity to shape and deliver some of the UK offshore energy industry's most recognised events.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused events professional with expertise in event management, stakeholder engagement, conference delivery, and event marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end planning, management and delivery of corporate events, conferences, exhibitions and awards ceremonies.
- Manage event budgets, revenue targets and financial performance to ensure commercial success.
- Develop event programmes, secure industry speakers and coordinate event content.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, exhibitors, suppliers, venues and stakeholders.
- Support event marketing campaigns across digital marketing, email marketing, social media and website platforms.
- Monitor event performance, attendee feedback and commercial outcomes to drive continuous improvement.
- Identify opportunities to develop new event concepts, member engagement initiatives and revenue streams.
- Ensure all events are delivered to the highest standards of quality, professionalism and customer experience.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in event management, corporate events, conference management or exhibition delivery.
- Demonstrable experience managing multiple events simultaneously.
- Experience managing event budgets, sponsorship packages and commercial targets.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Experience supporting event marketing and event communications campaigns.
- Excellent project management, organisation and planning skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using event management systems, CRM platforms or registration tools would be advantageous.

Working Pattern
This is a full-time role working 09:00am –17:00pm, Monday to Friday in an office environment, with additional hours worked as required for events
