NIHCSS is a recovery-focused mental health service dedicated to helping people live independent, fulfilling lives.
Working across community outreach services and our supported living service at Vanguard Court (NR2), we support people to develop confidence, build resilience and achieve the goals that matter most to them.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Mental Health Recovery Worker, you will:
- Build positive and trusting relationships with the people you support
- Deliver one-to-one recovery-focused support
- Help people identify and achieve personal goals
- Develop recovery plans, risk assessments and wellbeing plans
- Support individuals to increase independence and confidence
- Work alongside health professionals, housing providers and community organisations
- Encourage choice, empowerment and social inclusion

Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Access to a vehicle for work purposes
- Ability to work across our shift patterns
Experience in mental health, social care, housing support, community support, healthcare, counselling, psychology, substance misuse services or related fields is beneficial but not essential.
