In this role, you will work as a Technician working with the Engineering Manager, Supervisors & Team Leaders within the Bulk and Break Department, to deliver on-time delivery, continuous flow, customer satisfaction and zero defects, across a rolling shift pattern, carrying out maintenance on heavy plant and equipment. Additionally, you will provide Team Leader support as required during periods of absence.
You will complete planned and reactive maintenance activities and carry out modifications to all types of heavy plant and equipment, liaising with operations to prioritise breakdown repairs, using fault finding diagnostic techniques and equipment to reduce the impact of reactive maintenance. You will assist the management team when required in a range of activities, including project work and shutdowns, QA systems and Health and Safety. It’s vital that all activities are documented and carried out with due care and attention in line with our Health and Safety policy and HSE regulations. Working with shift engineers to meet the site targets and achieving all training requirements for the department. Working pattern of 4 days 4 off 4 nights 8 off.
