The Role
We are looking for an experienced Estimator / Project Manager to join our growing team based in the West Midlands.
This is a varied hybrid role where approximately 70% of your time will be spent estimating, with the remaining 30% focused on project management, including site visits, client meetings and overseeing project delivery.
You'll work flexibly between the office, home and customer sites, managing projects from initial enquiry through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate quotations and cost estimates for commercial HVAC projects.
- Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
- Obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Produce detailed cost breakdowns and tender submissions.
- Carry out site surveys to assess project requirements.
- Manage projects from award through to completion.
- Coordinate labour, materials and subcontractors.
- Liaise with clients, engineers and suppliers throughout project delivery.
- Monitor project progress, costs and programme.
- Attend site meetings and provide technical support where required.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.

Experience Required
- Previous experience as an Estimator, Project Manager or Estimator/Project Manager within the Air Conditioning Industry
- Good understanding of commercial air conditioning installations.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong commercial awareness and cost management skills.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Confident using estimating software and Microsoft Office.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Qualifications
- HVAC or Building Services background preferred.
- Air Conditioning or Mechanical qualifications advantageous.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Must be able to pass a DBS check.
