Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Evening Picker/Packer to join our warehouse team. This role is essential in ensuring accurate order fulfilment during evening shifts. The successful candidate will play a key part in maintaining high standards of quality and safety within our warehouse operation. A good knowledge of fresh produce is advantageous, but training will be provided for the right candidate. This position offers an opportunity to
- Select items accurately from stock using picking lists and warehouse management systems
- Pack products, ensuring quality control standards are met
- Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment, including forklifts if qualified
- Handle materials efficiently, adhering to safety guidelines for heavy lifting and manual handling
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse workspace
- Operate mechanical equipment safely and effectively, including forklifts if certified
This position is ideal for individuals seeking evening work with an emphasis on precision, safety, and operational efficiency within a fast-paced warehouse environment. Please be aware this does include some heavy lifting and you will need to be a great team player.
