Job Summary
We are looking for a trainee to join our Tax Department, where we will support the ATT qualification, with a view to supporting the CTA qualification at a later stage should training and performance be completed satisfactorily. The role would be dealing with both personal and corporate tax work.
Core Responsibilities
- Preparing tax returns for review by managers – this would include, but not limited to, self-assessment tax returns, corporate tax returns, capital gains tax returns and P11Ds
- Liaising with HMRC regarding various queries and to resolve client matters
- Liaising with clients regarding their tax returns and other tax queries – this would involve clients from a wide range of sectors and industries
- Other ad hoc cuties in line with the role
Who We are Looking For
We are looking for a school leaver or graduate, with strong academics, to join our team. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organisational skills
- Able to balance deadlines
- Strong communication skills
- Strong IT literacy
The successful candidate should be looking to commence their career in tax and be willing to study for the relevant qualifications. We will provide full training support, and no prior tax experience is necessary.
We would be looking for the successful candidate to join us in the late summer/early autumn of 2026.
