Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Are you a time-served, multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with strong electrical and mechanical experience, looking for a role where your skills will genuinely make a difference? We're expanding our Engineering Team and want to hear from experienced engineers ready for their next challenge. This role runs on a Panama shift pattern.
JOB PURPOSE
Working alongside our Engineering Team, you'll carry out planned and reactive maintenance, installations and repairs to keep our production equipment running at its best. You'll be a self-motivated problem-solver, equally comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Diagnosing and repairing faults across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on production machinery
- Working closely with production teams to prioritise and resolve breakdowns quickly
- Supporting machine changeovers, settings and operator queries
- Helping develop and improve our PPM schedules
- Maximising machine uptime and minimising downtime across your area
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Time-served, multi-skilled engineer with genuine electrical AND mechanical experience
- Proven track record in a production/manufacturing environment
- Confident fault-finder — able to read electrical/mechanical drawings and diagnose issues quickly
- High regard for safety, quality and attention to detail
- Strong communicator, comfortable liaising with production and management
- PLC/automation experience an advantage but not essential

Pay: £46,000.00-£51,000.00 per year
