Role Overview: We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Graduate Construction Project Manager to join our growing team. This role is designed for a recent graduate looking to build a career in construction project management. You will work directly across the project lifecycle, managing crucial planning documentation, tracking project financial performance, and maintaining vital client relationships to ensure seamless project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Planning: Assist in developing, maintaining, and updating comprehensive project management plans, timelines, and schedules for various construction projects.Financial Tracking & Reporting: Create, update, and manage profit and loss (P&L) margin sheets for each project to track expenditures, forecast margins, and ensure projects remain profitable and within budget.
Client Liaison & Collaboration: Work closely with the client’s Project Manager on each assignment, serving as a reliable point of contact to ensure clear communication, alignment on goals, and smooth day-to-day operations.
Progress Monitoring: Assist in tracking project milestones, identifying potential risks or delays, and collaborating with internal teams to implement solutions.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including meeting minutes, progress reports, and variations, ensuring all stakeholders are kept fully informed.Requirements & QualificationsEducation: A recent degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Financial Literacy: Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand budgets, costs, and profit/loss calculations.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to collaborate directly with external client Project Managers
.Organization: Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage tasks across multiple projects simultaneously.Aptitude: A proactive attitude, a strong willingness to learn, and a passion for the construction industry.
