Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Works Coordinator & Accounts Assistant to join our team. This role combines essential coordination responsibilities with vital accounting support, ensuring smooth project execution and accurate financial management. Duties
- Coordinate daily work activities, schedules, and resource allocation for various projects and teams
- Answering the phone and taking calls
- Assist with accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and expense tracking
- Maintain and update financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or PeopleSoft
- Support data entry tasks related to project management, procurement, and financial transactions
- Monitor and reconcile accounts using systems like Workday or Xero to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Collaborate with the finance team to prepare reports on project costs and financial status
- Manage documentation for project logistics, including delivery schedules, contractor coordination, and inventory tracking
Requirements
- Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or PeopleSoft
- Familiarity with Workday or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
- Strong skills in data entry with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes and financial services industry standards
- Experience working with various accounting platforms like Xero or Sage is highly desirable
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to adapt quickly to new software tools and workflows

Pay: £12.90-£15.00 per hour
