Trainee Amada Press Operator
Ready to step into precision manufacturing? We’re looking for someone with previous manufacturing / machine operating experience to join our aluminium production team and develop on Amada press brake machines.
Full training on equipment and processes will be provided.
What you’ll be doing:
- Operating and setting Amada press brake machines
- Working from technical drawings
- Checking parts using measuring tools
- Maintaining high quality and safety standards
- Supporting daily production targets

Pay Rates
6am–2pm – Earlies
- Training: £13.05/hr
- Fully trained: £13.80/hr
2pm–10pm – Backs
- Training: £13.55/hr
- Fully trained: £14.30/hr
10pm–6am – Nights
- Training: £14.30/hr
- Fully trained: £15.30/hr
Flexible Rota Rates
- Nights / Earlies: £14.55/hr
- Earlies / Backs: £14.05/hr
- Nights / Backs: £14.81/hr
- All 3 shifts: £14.43/hr
What we need:
- Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience
- Ability to read technical drawings, or willingness to learn
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable, hands-on approach
- Flexibility with the shift pattern is essential
- Training will take place on 6am–2pm day shifts
- Once fully trained, you must be flexible to work Backs, Nights or a rotating shift pattern
