Duties
- Lead and motivate the barista team to deliver outstanding coffee and beverage service with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow, efficient serving, and timely food preparation
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and sanitation procedures to guarantee a safe environment for staff and guests
- Train new team members on proper brewing techniques, serving protocols, and food safety practices
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure equipment is well-maintained for optimal performance
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and create a positive atmosphere that encourages repeat visits
- Support the development of team members through coaching on time management, multitasking, and customer engagement
Skills
- Proven barista experience with a strong understanding of coffee brewing methods and beverage presentation
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling and sanitation
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to prepare simple food items as needed while maintaining quality standards
- Basic math skills for cash handling, measuring ingredients, and inventory management
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
