Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Office Manager / Service Manager to oversee the operation and maintenance of the company Accounts, procurement, management of accreditations & systems .
This full-time position involves working closely with the companies Directors to support the on-going operations of the company as it continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Office Operations: Oversee facilities management, manage office supplies/equipment, and coordinate with building landlords and contractors.
- Administration: Manage incoming/outgoing correspondence, handle filing systems, and prepare operational or financial reports.
- HR & Onboarding: Support the onboarding process for new hires, including workspace setup, IT hardware allocation, and inductions.
- Finance & Payroll Support: Process invoices, maintain expense records, and assist with basic bookkeeping or payroll liaison.
- Team Culture: Coordinate internal communications, organize team-building events, and maintain a welcoming, inclusive office environment.
Qualifications
- Proven office experience with a strong understanding of administrative procedures.
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with Xero software is preferred.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong typing skills for efficient data entry and document preparation.
- Demonstrated phone etiquette and professional communication skills.
- Previous clerical experience in a customer-focused environment is desirable.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting. This position is ideal for candidates who are meticulous, proactive, and eager to contribute to a dynamic team.
Skills
- Knowledge of the Mechanical services industry is an advantage
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing teams in a technical environment.
- Expertise in equipment repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures.
- Knowledge of construction processes related to HVAC system installation and upgrades prefarred
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills for liaising with clients, suppliers, and team members.

Pay: £35,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
