LKL Farming grow 1600 acres of crops near Howden, East Yorkshire and are looking to recruit a machinery operator / tractor driver for Harvest.
We grow wheat, oats, oilseed rape, vining peas and sugar beet. We run a modern machinery fleet and are based out of a well equipped modern yard, with large flat floor grain stores filled by a continuous flow drier.
The role will include:
Leading grain
Leading straw
Helping in the grainstore
Mowing
Hedgecutting and ditch mowing
General farm work
And may also involve:
Straw turning
Muck spreading
Telehandler operation - grain, straw, muck
Subsoiling
Power harrowing
Rolling
The candidate:
Some experience and a "can do" attitude is essential
An ability to understand and work within our farming system is essential
Telehandler certificates is desirable but not essential
Full Driving Licence is essential
Help required mid-July through end August for combinable crop harvest.
Plenty of hours available but some flexibility possible.
Pay depending on experience.
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
