Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing foundations for columns and street furniture
- Installing and wiring lighting columns, bollards, feeder pillars, and signs
- Driving 7.5-tonne and 18-tonne lorries (Category C licence required)
- Working on active construction and highway sites safely
- Maintaining tools, plant, and company vehicles
- Adhering to safety and electrical standards
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence with Category C entitlement (for 7.5t & 18t vehicles)
- Strong awareness of health and safety, PPE use, and site protocols
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather
- Experience working on streetlighting or electrical site installation
- Hiab qualification
Desirable (Advantageous)
- Previous experience in streetlighting is preferred
- Current First Aid & Manual Handling certificates
- G39 Certification (working near DNO equipment)
- NRSWA (Streetworks) accreditation
- ECS / HERS Card
- CSCS card via HERS Scheme
