We are recruiting experienced and reliable Groundworkers, General Labourers, Pipe Layers and Telehandler/Machine Drivers for construction, civil engineering, utilities and infrastructure projects across the UK and Europe.
We are looking for workers who are experienced, safety-conscious and ready to work as part of a professional site team.
POSITIONS AVAILABLE
Groundworkers
Duties may include:
- Excavation and ground preparation
- Drainage and ducting
- Foundations and concrete works
- Kerbing, paving and reinstatement
- Trenching and backfilling
- Working from drawings and site specifications
- Using hand tools and small plant
- Working safely around heavy machinery and other site operatives
Requirements:
- Previous groundworks/civil engineering experience
- CSCS card where required for UK projects
- Relevant site qualifications/certifications where required
General Labourers
Duties may include:
- Loading and unloading materials
- Moving materials around site
- Assisting groundworkers, pipe layers and trades
- Site clearance and preparation
- Digging, backfilling and general site duties
- Using basic hand tools
- Keeping work areas clean and safe
- Following instructions from supervisors and site management
Requirements:
- Previous construction/site experience preferred
- CSCS card where required for UK projects
- Good understanding of site health & safety
Pipe Layers
Experienced Pipe Layers are required for drainage, utilities and civil engineering projects.
Duties may include:
- Installing underground drainage and utility pipework
- Laying water, sewer, drainage and ducting systems
- Working in trenches and excavations
- Setting levels and gradients
- Connecting pipes and fittings
- Bedding and positioning pipework
- Assisting with excavation and backfilling
- Working from drawings and specifications
Requirements:
- Proven pipe laying/drainage experience
- CSCS or relevant UK certification where required
- Relevant experience with drainage, utilities or civil engineering projects
Telehandler / Machine Drivers
Experienced Telehandler Operators and Machine Drivers are required for construction and civil engineering projects.
Duties may include:
- Operating telehandlers and other construction plant
- Loading, unloading and moving materials
- Carrying out daily plant inspections
- Operating machinery safely and efficiently
- Working around pedestrians, site workers and other machinery
- Following lifting plans and site procedures
- Reporting defects or mechanical problems
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating the relevant machinery
- CPCS or NPORS certification where required for UK projects
- Relevant category/endorsement for the machine being operated
- Additional site-specific certification where required
UK CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Applicants should hold the appropriate certification for their role and the requirements of the individual project.
Depending on the position, this may include:
- CSCS – for relevant construction/site roles
- CPCS – for relevant plant and machinery operators
- NPORS – for relevant plant and machinery operators
- Any additional qualifications or site-specific tickets required by the client or principal contractor

EUROPEAN PROJECTS
For projects across Europe, workers must hold the appropriate recognised certification or operator qualification required in the country and on the individual project.
Where applicable, this may include VCA or equivalent European-recognised health & safety/site certification, together with the relevant plant/operator qualification for the machinery being operated.
Applicants should confirm:
- Current VCA status/certification where applicable
- Relevant European plant/operator certificates
- Country-specific qualifications where applicable
- Previous experience working on European construction sites
Certification requirements may vary by country, client and project.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

- Have relevant experience for the position applied for
- Be reliable, punctual and hard-working
- Have a strong understanding of construction health & safety
- Be physically fit and capable of carrying out site duties
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Follow instructions from supervisors and site management
- Have the legal right to work in the relevant country
- Hold the relevant cards, tickets or qualifications where required
- Be willing to travel and work away from home when required
