AVW Fabrications Ltd has been providing metal fabrication for more than 35 years. We are located in Leicester with close links to the M1, M69 and A46. We specialise in laser cutting and sheet metal fabrication and have successfully completed thousands of large and small projects throughout the Midlands.
We are looking for a Press Break Operator to join our growing family, who displays an enthusiastic, positive attitude and is able to work from both sets of instructions and use their initiative.
Key Role
- Interpreting drawings received.
- Folding sheet metal to tolerances.
- Working with other staff members by coordinating workload.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations.
Experience/Skills
- Competent at using the following machines: Amada HFE-M2 1704 press brake, guillotine, spot welder and various hand tools would be preferable.
- Accurate measuring ability and good numeracy skills and experience of using a tape measure and other measuring devices.
- The ability to understand the drawings provided.
- Relevant qualifications would be desirable.
- Previous sheet metal experience preferable.

Salary: Depending on experience and skills
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 7:30am to 4:30pm & Friday 7:30am to 2pm
