Summary
We are seeking a skilled Leather Sewing Machinist to join our team in GB. Based in our workshop, you will play a vital role in creating and repairing luxurious car and motorcycle seats, ensuring each piece meets our high standards of excellence. Your expertise will help us bring timeless elegance back to our clients' vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain sewing machines specific to leather and upholstery work.
- Sew leather and fabric components for car seats, headliners, and motorcycle seats.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure precise stitching and finishing.
- Assist with material handling and storage within the workshop.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance.
- Support ongoing restoration projects by preparing materials as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to uphold safety standards.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in sewing, particularly with leather or upholstery materials.
- Ability to operate industrial sewing machines efficiently.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Prior warehouse or workshop experience is advantageous.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Knowledge of vehicle interior restoration processes is a plus.
- Good communication skills in English.
